Privacy, in plain English.

I'm a therapist, which means I take privacy more seriously than your average newsletter. Here's everything this site does with your information — written by me, read by a lawyer.

1What I collect

If you subscribe, I collect your first name and email address. That's it. No birthday, no job title, no location.

If you visit the site, my host collects basic, anonymous analytics through Google Analytics 4. No advertising cookies are used.

2What I do with it

Your email is stored and processed by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), who runs my mailing list under their own privacy policy.

3How to leave

Every letter has an unsubscribe link. Click it and you're gone. To delete your address entirely, email [email protected].

4Replies

If you write back, I read it. Sometimes I quote replies anonymously — first name changed, identifying details removed. Say “off the record” anywhere in your email and I'll honor it.

Nothing you email me constitutes a therapeutic relationship. If you're in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line.

5Your rights (GDPR)

If you're in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to our processing of your personal data. Our legal basis is consent — you gave it when you subscribed, you can withdraw it by unsubscribing. To exercise any other right, email [email protected] and I'll respond within 30 days.

6Contact

Privacy questions go to [email protected]. I answer within a week.
