Let's do something about it.
Same problem, different angle.
After my last letter went out, I heard from quite a few of you. Two things kept coming up: the fear of not being found without a directory listing, and the guilt of a website that looks like no one lives there anymore.
I hear you. And I’ve been sitting with the same problem from a different angle.
In the past two months I spent more time than I’d like to admit finding the right therapist for people who came to me when I was already full. Good people, ready to work, and I was essentially matchmaking them by hand because I didn’t trust any directory to do it fairly.
So I’m building something.
A free network, built around referrals and trust, where your profile isn’t a listing you pay for and pray over.
Where visibility rotates fairly so nobody stays buried on page nine forever. Where the only condition for staying visible is that you contribute something, a short piece of your thinking, once a week. The same thing that brought clients to me.
The profiles will actually work. Booking, scheduling, the things that eat your admin time.
I want to know if you’d use it.
